The acetate lens is a highly impact-resistant and scratch-resistant lens material at room temperature, making it an ideal choice for the most demanding industrial conditions. Electrostatic electricity is not easily generated on the surface of the lens and ignition does not occur easily, making it ideal for working with alcohol, gasoline, oil, greases, kerosene, etc. The acetate can also be sterilized. In the cold, acetate loses its flexibility, which may reduce the level of protection it provides, which should be taken into account when carrying out job-specific risk assessment and personal protective equipment selection.
