Target audience:
Industry, construction, logistics, cleaners and all other professionals who move on fixed ladders, other ladders or platforms or other metal structures or work on skylifts.
Goal:
To prepare the participants to work and move safely in altering work situations. Learn the differences and benefits of different attachment points on a harness both from ergonomic and safety point of view. Clarify when to choose a fall prevention system, work positioning system and when a fall arrest system.
Content:
- Identifying risks and safe elimination of them
- Choosing the right PPE and use them safely
- Choosing and preparation of anchor points
- Approaching and departing the work area safely and work safely
- Basic self-rescue when hanging on a lanyard
- Basics of counter weight technique
Additional information:
Participation does not require previous experience of work at height.
Training gives the ability to participate to Industry Advanced training (VD7918AT).
Available in Finnish and English.
Can be organized at the end customer’s facility or at our training center in Helsinki.
Price includes the use of all PPE needed in the training.
Participants will receive a certificate which identifies the workers skills to perform work tasks at height.
Circumstances where fall protection PPE are required are demanding. Therefore we recommend refreshing the training every 12 months.
The following manufacturers PPE will be used in the training: Beal, CT climbing technology, Ikar.
Possible kilometer allowance 0.6 €/km and overnight accommodation fee will be added to the training cost.
